A NEW ERA. A NEW ICON.
The next chapter for the Isle of Wight Hotel is currently being written.
Inspired by the world’s best coastal resorts, the vision for the reimagined Isle of Wight aims to set a new standard for accommodation, dining, events, and entertainment in Victoria.
At the heart of the reimagined property will lie the renowned Isle of Wight Pub, bringing back to life a much-loved focal point back for a new generation, to be enjoyed by Phillip Island locals and holidaymakers alike. The proposed plan also includes a 159-room hotel with six unique bars, restaurants and cafes; a sprawling lawn and beer garden; sundeck with rooftop pool; large-scale functions, weddings, and events spaces; health and wellness spa; and an immersive retail laneway precinct including premium produce from across the region.
National hospitality group CLG and developers Moda, have lodged an initial town planning application submission with Bass Coast Shire Council for the proposed multimillion-dollar development which is expected to provide over 150 new full-time jobs in the region, as well as additional seasonal employment opportunities.
CLG and Moda look forward to continuing to work constructively with council and the community on this exciting project, recognising the catalytic nature of the development for the town and broader region.
